How do I start a new reconciliation?

Short Answer: From Home, open the Reconciliation card and click the yellow "New reconciliation" button.

PreRequisites

  1. Be signed in to your CleverBalance account.

  2. Be on the Home page (header shows "Welcome back, John").

Steps

  1. Open the Home page and locate the Reconciliation card (card title "Reconciliation").
    The Reconciliation card and the yellow "New reconciliation" button are visible.

  2. Click the "New reconciliation" button on the Reconciliation card.
    The reconciliation setup/creation flow begins.

  3. Follow the on-screen prompts in the setup flow to configure data sources and run the reconciliation.
    The new reconciliation is created and will appear in the Reconciliations list after it runs.

Troubleshooting

  1. The "New reconciliation" button is not visible and you see a list of reconciliations instead.

    Likely Cause: Your account already has reconciliations, so the Home card shows recent runs.

    Action: Use the "View report" links or click "View all" to manage existing reconciliations.

  2. Clicking "New reconciliation" does nothing.
