Why do I see a red dot on the bell icon?

Short Answer: The red dot indicates there are new or unread notifications. Open Notifications to review them.

Steps

1. Click the bell icon in the header or navigate to /notifications.

   The Notifications page opens and displays your recent or unread notifications.

2. Click the "Unread" tab to review notifications you haven’t seen yet.

   The red dot will usually disappear once unread notifications are viewed or marked as read.

Troubleshooting

1. The red dot remains after viewing notifications.

   LikelyCause: Some notifications are still unread, or the UI hasn’t synced yet.

   Action:

   • Open the "Unread" tab and check for remaining items.

   • Refresh the page.

   • Sign out and sign back in if needed.

   • Wait a few minutes for the system to sync.
