How do I view the Access logs?

Short Answer: Open Settings → Security and select the "Access logs" tab to view Date, User, Action, IP address, and Location for recent sign-in events.

PreRequisites

  1. Be signed in to your CleverBalance account.

  2. Have access to the Settings menu in the left navigation.

Steps

  1. Open the Settings section from the left navigation menu.
    The Settings page shows sections such as Organization, Team, and Security.

  2. Click "Security" in the left navigation.
    The Security page opens and displays the tabs Access logs and Audit logs.

  3. Select the "Access logs" tab.
    The Access logs table appears.

  4. Review the entries in the table to see recent events.
    Each row shows:

    • Date

    • User

    • Action

    • IP address

    • Location

    Example actions shown include New device, Recognized device, Incorrect password, and MFA failed.

Troubleshooting

  1. You cannot see "Security" in the left navigation.

    Likely Cause: Your account does not have permission to access security settings.

    Action: Contact your organization administrator to request Security settings access.

  2. The Access logs table is empty.

    Likely Cause:

    • No recent events have been recorded, or

    • Your account has limited permissions to view logs.

    Action: Confirm whether recent activity should exist. If entries are expected but missing, contact your administrator.
