Short Answer: Click ‘+ New’ next to ‘Customer name’, create the customer, then select it from the dropdown.

Steps

Open the New reconciliation page and locate the ‘Customer name’ field.
You will see the ‘Select customer name’ dropdown with a ‘+ New’ option beside it. -
Click ‘+ New’ next to ‘Customer name’.
A form or dialog opens to create a new customer. -
Enter customer details and save.
Fill in the required information and save the record.
The newly created customer will now be available in the dropdown. -
Select the new customer.
Choose the customer from ‘Select customer name’ to use it in reconciliation.
Troubleshooting
- Clicking ‘+ New’ does not open a form
Likely Cause: Browser popup blocker, JavaScript issue, or session problem
Action: Refresh the page, disable popup blockers, or sign out and sign back in. If the issue persists, contact your admin or support
