How do I upload a Customer statement file?

Short Answer: Drag & drop your file into the ‘Customer statement’ box or click ‘Upload file’ and select a CSV, XLS, or XLSX file (≤ 10MB).

PreRequisites

  1. Be signed in to CleverBalance

  2. Have the Customer statement file in CSV, XLS, or XLSX format

  3. Ensure the file size is 10MB or smaller

Steps

  1. Locate the upload section.
    On the New reconciliation page, find the ‘Customer statement’ upload box.

  2. Upload the file.
    Drag and drop your file into the upload area, or click ‘Upload file’ to open the file picker.

  3. Select and confirm the file.
    Choose your CSV, XLS, or XLSX file (≤ 10MB).
    The file will appear attached in the upload box.

  4. Verify file format if needed.
    Click ‘View sample data format’ to check the required structure and compare it with your file.

Troubleshooting

  1. File upload rejected due to size

    Action: Compress, split the file, or export a smaller dataset
