Why are some column names missing or incorrect in the Reference / Description tokens?

Short Answer: This usually happens when the wrong sheet or header row is selected—fix ‘Select sheet’ and ‘Header row’.

PreRequisites

  1. Configure customer statement dialog is open

  2. Data preview (20 rows) is visible

Steps

  1. Verify the selected sheet.
Check ‘1. Select sheet’ and ensure it contains your actual data and headers.

  2. Set the correct header row.
In ‘2. Header row’, choose the row where your column names appear.

  3. Check reference tokens.
Confirm that ‘5. Reference / Description’ now shows the expected column names as chips.

Troubleshooting

  1. Column names still missing after correction
Likely Cause: Headers in the file are not properly formatted (blank cells, merged cells, or non-text values)
Action: Update the source file to have a single clean header row with plain text column names, then re-upload

Note: The system reads headers from a single row—ensure your file has clear, unmerged column names for accurate mapping.
