How do I view skipped transactions and the ‘Total skipped’ count?

Last updated on Apr 23, 2026

Short Answer: Check the ‘Skipped’ summary box for counts and click the ‘Skipped’ tab to view skipped transactions.

PreRequisites

  1. Be signed in to CleverBalance

  2. Be on the Customer reconciliation report page

Steps

  1. View skipped counts.
Look at the ‘Skipped’ summary box, which shows:

    • Customer skipped transactions

    • Books skipped transactions

    • Total skipped

  2. Open the ‘Skipped’ tab.
Click ‘Skipped’ below the summary boxes to see detailed records.

  3. Review skipped transactions.
Analyze the listed rows to understand why they were excluded from matching.

Troubleshooting

  1. ‘Total skipped’ count seems incorrect
Likely Cause: Counts are combined from both Customer and Books, or filters/data changes affect results
Action: Open the ‘Skipped’ tab to inspect records, refresh the report, or re-run reconciliation

Note: Total skipped is the sum of skipped transactions from both Customer and Books datasets.
