How do I view transactions that did not match?

Short Answer: Click the ‘Unmatched’ tab below the summary boxes to see transactions that didn’t match.

PreRequisites

  1. Be signed in to CleverBalance

  2. Be on the Customer reconciliation report page

Steps

  1. Open the ‘Unmatched’ tab.
    Click ‘Unmatched’ below the summary section.

  2. Review unmatched transactions.
    Look at columns like Statement amount and Book amount to identify differences or missing matches.

  3. Inspect details (optional).
    Click the right chevron on any row to view more details about that transaction.

Troubleshooting

  1. Too many unmatched transactions
    Likely Cause: Data inconsistencies, timing differences, or missing entries
    Action: Download the report using ‘Download report’, analyze offline, and re-run reconciliation after corrections

Note: Unmatched transactions represent entries that could not be paired between the Customer statement and Books data.
