How do I change the Reconciliation name?

Short Answer: Edit the Reconciliation name field on the New reconciliation page; the default is Intercompany Reconciliation.

PreRequisites

1. Be on the New reconciliation page

Steps

1. Locate the Reconciliation name input on the New reconciliation page.
   You see the field populated with Intercompany Reconciliation or a previous name.

2. Click into the Reconciliation name input and type the new name you want.
   The new name is entered into the field.

3. Click outside the input or proceed to upload files; the new name will remain in the field.
   The Reconciliation name field shows your updated name.

Troubleshooting

1. Reconciliation name is not editable.
   LikelyCause: Temporary page state or account restrictions.
   Action: Refresh the page and try again. If it remains read-only, you may need a different account role to change the name or contact your administrator.

Note: Name the reconciliation clearly to reflect the entities and period to make future searches easier.
