Short Answer: Use '2. Header row' to select the row number that contains your column headers (example shown: '5').

PreRequisites

  1. Configure entity A statement dialog open with 'Data preview (20 rows)' visible

Steps

  1. Locate '2. Header row' in the Required fields panel.
'2. Header row' control is visible with a current value (example: 5).

  2. Open the '2. Header row' dropdown and select the row number where your column headers appear in the sheet.
The selected row number is applied as the header row.

  3. Confirm the column headings in 'Data preview (20 rows)' match your spreadsheet header names.
Preview shows readable column labels (not data values) in the header position.

  4. If labels still look wrong, try other row numbers until the preview shows proper column headers.
Header row set correctly and available fields are named as expected.

Troubleshooting

  1. Column headers in the preview show data values (e.g., numbers or dates) instead of names.
LikelyCause: '2. Header row' is not set to the row containing header names.
Action: Open '2. Header row' and select the correct row number that contains your column names until the preview shows header labels.

Note: Choose the row number that exactly matches the header row in your spreadsheet so column names become available for mapping.
