How do I run a new reconciliation for this vendor?

Short Answer: Click the "Run new reconciliation" button in the report header to start a new reconciliation run for the vendor.

PreRequisites

  1. Be signed in to CleverBalance

  2. Open the Vendor / supplier reconciliation report for the vendor (e.g., Vendor 1)

  3. Have permission to run reconciliations (if your account is role-limited)

Steps

  1. Open the vendor’s "Vendor / supplier reconciliation report".
    You see the report header and the "Run new reconciliation" button.

  2. Click "Run new reconciliation".
    The application initiates a new reconciliation run for this vendor.

  3. Wait for the reconciliation process to complete (monitor changes to Recon ID or timestamp).
    A new run completes and the report updates to reflect the latest results.

Troubleshooting

  1. "Run new reconciliation" button is unresponsive or disabled.
    LikelyCause: You may lack permission, or another reconciliation is already running for this vendor.
    Action: Confirm your user role and permissions or wait for the current run to finish. Contact an administrator if needed.

  2. Recon results do not update after running a new reconciliation.
    LikelyCause: Run failed or UI needs refresh.
    Action: Refresh the page and check the Recon ID and timestamp at the top-right of the report.

Note: If you expect a new Recon ID or timestamp after a run, check the top-right of the screen for changes.
