Last updated on Apr 28, 2026

Short Answer: "Private" means only team members can view this report. "Public" means anyone with the link can view; no login required.

PreRequisites

  1. Open the "Share this report" modal

Steps

  1. Open the "Share this report" modal.
    Modal is visible.

  2. Read the descriptions under "Report access":
"Private — Only team members can view this report." and
"Public — Anyone with the link can view. No login required."
You understand the difference between Private and Public.

  3. Select the option that matches how widely you want to share and click "Save" to apply.
    Chosen access level is saved.

Troubleshooting

  1. Report still behaves as private after choosing Public.
LikelyCause: You did not click "Save" after selecting Public.
Action: Select "Public" and click "Save" in the modal, then test the link again.
