How do I change or replace the uploaded Credit card statement?

Last updated on Apr 29, 2026

Short Answer: Click 'Edit' in the 'Credit card statement' panel and upload the new file (drag & drop or select), then confirm the filename updates.

PreRequisites

  1. Be signed in

  2. Have the replacement statement file ready (CSV, XLS, or XLSX; ≤ 10MB)

Steps

  1. Open the 'New reconciliation' page and find the 'Credit card statement' panel.
'Credit card statement' panel and the 'Edit' link are visible.

  2. Click the 'Edit' link in the top-right of the 'Credit card statement' panel.
File chooser or upload control appears to add a new statement file.

  3. Drag & drop the new file or select it using the file chooser.
The panel updates to show the new filename under 'Credit card statement'.

  4. Verify the filename (for example, it replaces 'Amex_Credit CardStatement_.xlsx').
The new file is displayed and ready for reconciliation.

Troubleshooting

  1. New file does not replace the old one.
LikelyCause: Upload did not complete or file format/size issue occurred.
Action: Check that the file is CSV/XLS/XLSX and ≤ 10MB, then try 'Edit' and upload again.

Note: If you only need to update the Books file, use 'Upload file' in the 'Books / Books of accounts' panel instead.
