Save & apply won't work — what should I check?

Short Answer: Ensure every required field in the 'Required fields' panel is completed: Header row, Transaction date, Date format, Description / Narration, and Amount representation.

PreRequisites

  1. The 'Configure credit card statement' modal is open

  2. You can view all sections under 'Required fields'

Steps

  1. Scan the 'Required fields' list and confirm each numbered item (1–5) has a selection.
    No required fields should be empty.

  2. Verify 'Header row' points to your column names and that 'Transaction date' and 'Amount column' are set.
    All dropdowns should have valid selections.

  3. Check 'Formatted preview (first 5 rows)' to ensure mappings are valid.
    Preview should display correctly without errors.

  4. Click 'Save & apply' again after completing missing fields.
    The button becomes active and applies your mapping.

Troubleshooting

  1. 'Save & apply' is unresponsive or changes do not save.
    LikelyCause: A required field is incomplete or has an invalid selection.
    Action: Complete all required fields and ensure selections match your data, then try again.
