How do I see which files were used for a reconciliation?

Last updated on Mar 19, 2026

Short Answer: Check the Files column in the reconciliation row to see the attached files.

PreRequisites

  1. Open the Reconciliations page.

Steps

  1. Locate the reconciliation run row in the list and look at the Files column.
The column shows file tags with the source (e.g., Bank, Books) and the file names.

  2. If you need more details, click View report in the Actions column for that run.
The report page shows how the files were processed and any parsing issues.

  3. If a file name appears truncated, adjust your view:
    Expand the browser window, or
    • Open the report page to see the full file name.

  4. If an expected file is missing, verify it during setup:
    • Check whether the file was uploaded during reconciliation setup.
    • If not, click + New reconciliation and upload the correct files again.

Troubleshooting

  1. Expected file is not shown in the Files column.

    Likely Cause:

    • The file was not uploaded during the run.
    • The run used a different set of input files.

    Action:

    • Open View report to confirm the actual input files used.
    • If incorrect, re-run the reconciliation and ensure the correct files are uploaded.

Note: Files are displayed with a source label (e.g., Bank or Books) along with the file name for easy identification.
