Clicking a table row or chevron doesn't open transaction details — what should I do?

  1. Be signed in to CleverBalance

  2. Open the reconciliation report and locate the table

Steps

  1. Ensure you have the correct tab selected ('Matched' or 'Unmatched') and that the table is visible.
    You can clearly see table rows and the right chevron icon in each row.

  2. Click the row chevron again to attempt to open details.
    The detail view or expanded row should appear.

  3. If nothing opens, refresh the page and try again. If still unsuccessful, try a different browser or device.
    Row details open or you identify a browser-specific issue.

  4. If you still cannot open details, contact support and provide the Recon ID and timestamp.
    Support can investigate permissions or errors preventing row expansion.

Troubleshooting

  1. Chevron click produces no response.
    LikelyCause: Browser JavaScript issue, pop-up blocked, or insufficient permissions.
    Action: Reload the page, enable JavaScript and pop-ups for the site, try another browser, and confirm you have access to view transaction-level details.
